It’s always good policy not to piss off the Boss ;)
Lol, you are insane. I never saw or said any such thing.
The kind of article we need. I advocate a strong ground game, but it is not everything. It is part of a complete campaign that also includes the message, the messenger, the air game, etc.
A local person is usually more effective than a stranger, especially an inexperienced young stranger. So Cruz has multiple donors per precinct and multiple local activists. If the young outside volunteer is seen as working for the local activist, it works better than if it seems like the yough outside is telling the locals what to do.
My experience is that a good offense is the best defense. Cruz made a mistake in limiting his ground game to proven voters of the past. His ground game should have used locals to reach the potential new attendees. Who ever brings them to the dance gets to take them home.
In this respect the Cruz campaign manager followed the bad advice of the Matt Lewis/Campaign Leadership Institute types who teach against reaching out.
My own best efforts and those I’ve witnessed over 52 years is that reaching out is time consuming, but always better than not reaching out.
Ted Cruz personally made a major strategic mistake in not dealing with the Canadian birth thing in Dec 2013. He could have made it old news. It seems that conservatives, even more than Leftists, dont follow Carvilles excellent advice on this.
If Jack Ryan, IL had followed good advice on this, we would have never been plagued with a president Obama.
Despite the above nit picking, I think Cruz will do well. Maybe it is just wishful thinking.
Roger that!
Aww aint that sweet... BAWK!
lolol
LL wrote her opus last night. 600+ replies if I remember correctly.
I know that saying you will not vote for our side in the general is frowned upon (at best).
Sorry if I was wrong.
That’s a stand up statement. Soldier on for your guy.
PS: You were wrong.
I’ll write my “We’ll Bye” post in libby’s honor right here.
and Good Riddance.
You really shouldn’t be - it’s actually a good thing that there are so many of us who haven’t been sucked into the Cult of Donnie. Shows the world that not all conservatives are brain damaged, you know?
Those statements will be “Zot-worthy” in future when Trump has eliminated all the competition.
How many will state they are Writing in Cruz, Carson, etc?
Loser are not Winners. : )
Just saw this. If I’m zotted for saying I won’t vote for Trump, my life will be just fine.
Yeah same here. I didn’t vote for McCain, I wrote in Duncan Hunter. Maybe I should be banned retroactively?
Could you direct me to her opus, please?
Now that she’s gone my blood pressure should be returning to normal.
Thanks!
You know, today on the Gulf Coast of MS it was in the 70’s. I went outside and cut grass, raked up the yard, cleaned the pool, etc. I stayed off my computer. I came inside feeling like a much better person and happier.
I’m seriously beginning to think that I shouldn’t be here anymore. When I’m not here I can pretend people are sane. I left the DC area for some peace and yet here I am arguing with people who sound just like the liberals I argued with in DC. It’s nuts.
Ha-ha! I know what you mean. I am Catholic and refrain from posting on FR during Lent which is almost upon us. Today I took my daughters dryer apart. Bearing rebuild kit on Amazon for 30 bucks. Prime member so U get it Tuesday. Will repair after work and for 30 bucks and an hour and a half of Grandpa’s time they are back in business. Capitalism works!
You don’t like the most conservative candidate yet you post on a conservative website. That’s puzzling.
