When you throw cops in jail for doing their job you get bolder street savages. And that was just what the administration wanted.
Rising violence is an Obama effect.
Doesn’t he make you angry?
Fundamental transformation.
Will Obama find an excuse to declare martial law in the next 354 days?
Obama and his other race hustlers have fostered, nurtured, and encouraged the politics and culture of racial grievance.
His so-called “Justice” department has made no secret that there are certain laws it isn’t going to enforce.
Let that sink in for a moment: Laws, passed by the legislature, that the DOJ has effectively let everyone know it is going to ignore.
While law enforcement is always in need of improvement, what you have now are areas that are being left to their own devices because police know that no matter what they do, they are targets, they are going to be wrong, and the apparatchiks who run things will prosecute them and leave them out to dry at the drop of a hat.
It’s the Obama effect.
It is known as “Activated Ork Syndrome”, IIRC.
Because the police were “acting stupidly”. ..trying to maintain law and order. . .so now they are acting “smart” by stepping back and letting the thugs cull the herd, so to speak.
There is a gang war going on in Chicago, like the old days with Al Capone.
And just like the old days, the politicians and powers that be in the city are all in on it.
The difference mow is that the gangs are more politically active than ever.
There will be end to this until one side wins and destroys the other. There’s no Eliot Ness waiting in the wings.

Kind of shows the authors bias, doesn’t it?
The author could haver writen:
In the old days, the Chicago officer who shot Laquan McDonald after he brandished a knife, slashed police car tires, and refused to obey police commands, would not have come under national scrutiny.
I think “Obama effect” is better, and it goes beyond hobbling law enforcement. The economy is in the pits, and the increase in crime is the natural outcome for the “Afro-gyspy” population.
Of course, nearly all of those who did the shootings used guns they bought after their background checks. They probably have proper receipts, etc.

By the way, I think Steve Chapman is one of the better Chicago reporters.
But he does have his biases.
Ferguson is the excuse, not the effect.it got the most press, while hardly a whimper is heard about the ongoing murder machine in Chicago.
Having Obama in charge is the same as if Jessie or Al were selected president. In obamas case, blacks are simply another too to forward his alinsky/Muslim/communist agenda.
Divide and conquer.
I’m hoping the next president will clean out the justice department and reinstate the rule of law, no matter what the race.
Give the police their power back and this madness will eventually subside to a manageable level.
I agree cops need to be able to do their jobs, but another issue here in the crumbling northeast is the lack of money for cops. A few years back, Newark NJ was in the throes of a homicide epidemic and still had to lay off 160+ cops because the money ran out (and Trenton wouldn’t forward any more from the ‘burbs).
Our most densely populated areas (the welfare reservations) simply can’t afford police protection anymore (or snow removal, for that matter).
This is incitement to violence to justify further unconstitutional gun laws. Just like the ATF selling guns to the Mexican Mafia.
Or will he manufacture one?

In Chicago we see: Net: 96.8 percent of homicide, 93.3 percent of rape, 96 percent of robbery, and 91.8 percent of aggravated assault – 94.5 percent of violent crime in Chicago - is committed by African-Americans and Hispanics. Whites comprise about 37% of the population.
