It ain’t up to a broke di*k country like Iran to the the US Navy where or where it can or can’t go.
Since Iran has an established record of grabbing boats outside of its waters and then claiming the boats were in its waters when they really weren’t, I doubt very much that Iran is telling the truth this time- we already know the Obama admin explanation that the Iranians ‘rescued’ the boats is complete bullshnit.
