Avoiding a repeat of past treachery on immigration means electing a president who will keep his promises, not "work out a deal" that perpetuates our open borders fiasco. So, it is fair to ask, can we trust Ted Cruz to challenge the Republican establishment's love affair with massive immigration?
Some candidates make loud, colorful promises to secure our borders. Ted Cruz has a record of actually fighting for secure borders.
It is easy to attack the establishment from the outside; that always gets applause and cheers, even when the "outsider" has a lifelong record of enjoying the benefits of insider status.
It takes real courage and conviction to attack the establishment from within and makes waves as big as a tsunami. Ted Cruz has done that - consistently, and successfully, on immigration and other issues like Obamacare, voting rights, and the 2nd Amendment.
That's why the establishment fears Ted Cruz: He's the real deal.

I appreciate your efforts, but here they're for naught.
Fantastic! This endorsement is so liberating! Now I don’t have to worry if Trump is going to peak at 47%!
I know that Ted Cruz will be able to pull this off and save America from being made great again!

A most illuminating article. Tom Tancredo, eh? I’ll remember that.
One should rely on border security alone.
We should franchise illegal worker pay confiscation companies.
Companies/persons employing people in construction, food processing, cleaning, landscaping would have to pay on dates specified by their name and be electronically authorized to pay people each week by the local franchisee.
On the day before a franchised company might show up or block payment and freeze the pay. Workers would have to go to the franchisee’s office to pick up their pay and show proof of authorization to work. Pay not picked up in 30 days would be the franchisee’s.
One shouldn’t rely on border security alone.
[Sorry for the typo.]
No more “amnesties”[unconstitutional irregular naturalizations] was part of the 1986 bipartisan immigration deal.
Beck...Tancredo...who’s next? Dick Morris?
I feel sorry for Tancredo. I guess he hasn’t gotten a shaming letter yet. :-)
Ted favors a real fix to illegal immigration. Trump wants to give them a vacation back home, there to pick up a get out of jail free card to wave at his wall on their return.
THIS IS YOUR FINAL NOTICE!
Yep. The clinton donor with his Saudi money man is just the same old john boehner politician.
Great job.
Trolls hate truth and can’t wait to prove ignorance.
Tancredo should have stayed in the House where he was an effective spokesman against stupid immigration polices and non-enforcement of the law. But since he left, he’s tried to reach beyond his grasp and has had little success in his various efforts.
