I appeared at a municipal court before a judge because I had a roofer arrested for stealing our material. 7 a.m.. I was there in a skirt suit....professionally dressed. Everyone else (with the exception to D.A. and judge) weren’t bathed and had on mostly worn jeans and tees. I couldn’t believe it at the time. This was several years ago.
And how specifically did you determine that?
I’ve got that beat. Years ago I went to court for a traffic violation. The guy ahead of me approached the bench with a hat on that had I’D SLAP YOUR FACE BUT SH#T SPLATTERS on the front. The judge politely told him that hats were not allowed in the courtroom. Then he threw the book at hi.
They probably thought nobody could tell. Filthy pigs don't realize how obvious it is to normal people.
Remember how we ladies used to dress for airplane travel? Dresses or suits, heels, gloves, hat... I have pictures of myself dressed like that. My husband and I stopped dressing up for trips on airplanes in the seventies when we saw other people dressed down. On one trip from CA to NY State we were dressed up and returning to CA, not! It felt odd after years of dressing up. Learned later that wearing panty hose or any polyester clothing (slacks etc.) was the worst thing women could wear in case of accident/fires...
