i just saw a stupid poll that ABC was touting on who people THOUGHT was going to win.

that must be because rump is beating hillary.

the only reason they would post such a stupid poll.

he’s not my first choice but he’s going to win the primary and the election.

the left and a million progressive groups can’t even bring a lawsuit to stop it. their @#$@$# judges cant help them now

I noticed the usual mass of poll postings is not appearing this morning.
What's more, the poll found that Mr. Trump has inspired deep support: three-quarters of Trump backers in Iowa say they are strongly committed to their choice of candidate, compared with only 58% of Cruz supporters. Similar gaps show up among voters in New Hampshire and South Carolina.

Hey, I'm a Trump guy, but I want to know when the poll was taken, and I don't see that in the article.

The debate thing can cut both ways. Good and bad. I've been waiting to see how the voters respond.

Let’s just save everyone time and money by annointing Trump and Hillary as the respective nominees of their parties. Surely the pollsters (like political consultants) know what is best for we the peasants. /sarc

Evangelicals are all in for Donald....and here/s the reasons why.

<><> an evangelical leader told BOR that his congregation rose en masse to applaud Trump/s promise to bomb the crap out of Christian-hating ISIS. Another 200,000 later downloaded the Trump comments from the pastor/s web site.

<><> The "smiling Muslim I'm your friend" act is lethal.....its how Obama duped his way into the WH.

THE MUSLIM DOCTRINE OF TAQIYYA...ITS OKAY TO LIE TO AN INFIDEL...For those with a discerning eye, taqiyya is all around us. Muslim refugees have pretended to convert to Christianity; an Islamic gunman gained entrance inside a church by feigning interest in Christian prayers. Examples abound on a daily basis.

<><> In Turkey, to get close enough to a Christian pastor to assassinate him, a group of Muslims including three women feigned interest in Christianity, attended his church for over a year, and even participated in baptism ceremonies.

Said the pastor: These people had infiltrated our church and collected information about me, my family and the church and were preparing an attack against us. Two of them attended our church for over a year and they were like family.

The friendly Muslim act hid their savage scheme.....to brutally kill the Christian pastor.

Planting that birther seed about Cruz was an act of pure, evil genius.

GWB/s infamous Islam is a religion of peace statement-—shows how easily Bush was duped into believing that these medieval feudal Mideast misfits needed just a taste of democracy to change course.....against the reality of centuries-old sectarian feuding, internecine warfare, deep-seated intractable hatreds and pathological social instability of these people.

I am noticing that Fox is really promoting Rubio this morning. After reading about Murdoch’s support of Rubio on Breitbart, everything is falling into place.

The fix was in for the debate - attack Trump, promote Rubio. Hat’s off to Mr. Trump for seeing the ambush coming and avoiding it. Well played.

Migrants are 'using multiple identities' to claim asylum and hide from previous arrests in Germany
Daily Mail ^ | 1/22/16 | Darren Boyle / FR Posted by Libloather

A pair of Algerian asylum seekers living in Germany and suspected of robbing an elderly woman's handbag used multiple identities to claim asylum and hide previous arrests. The pair, aged 17 and 31 told police in Essen, western Germany they had fled war-torn Syria after they were arrested on suspicion of stealing the 63-year-old woman's handbag. However, police soon discovered that both men, whose names have not been released, had been arrested on a number of previous occasions using different identities. This must be the 2,000th Iowa poll since this madness started back in June. I can't wait to put Iowa and it's much ballyhooed evangelicals in the rear view mirror for another four years. Just four more days...

I don't know about the validity of this here poll but if Cruz winning Iowa is predicated on him winning the vast majority of the "evangelical" vote. If it's even close among that group between Trump and Cruz, then it probably won't be close overall.

Remember that Santorum "won" in 2012 with less than 30,000 votes statewide. And even then, he only had 34 more votes than second place Mitt Romney.

Also, to underscore the relative meaningless of the Iowa caucus, consider that Santorum had ZERO Iowa delegates at the RNC that year. So much for winning Iowa.

Trivia question. Does anybody know who brought most of the Iowa delegates to the national convention? No, it wasn't Mitt Romney.

It was Ron Paul - who finished THIRD in Iowa.

Can't wait for Iowa to end. Enough already. Enough of ethanol and corn and evangelicals. I have nothing against the good people of Iowa but I have Iowa fatigue.

Evangelical Christians are smart, they are going to go with a winner and recognize Trump as the person who can win the general.

At this point I’d sooner believe that the media et al are setting up an expectation of a Trump win to be followed by failure.

Iowa generally doesn’t mean much anymore. I know the news outlets love to make you believe it does, but it doesn’t.

I was excited about Trump in the beginning, but his boorishness growing tiresome. I suspect Im not alone

Watch for Rubio to rise from the ashes come Super Tuesday. (And that is hardly an endorsement)

Its even in Iowa between Cruz and Trump imho, but regardless this is what I see happening.

Right now Rubio is being pushed, I saw this several days ago, the girl from Des Moines Register was asked on CNN if she agreed it was a 2 man race in IOWA, she said no, then said wait for the “gold standard of polls Des Moines Register poll that comes out on the weekend.

So if anybody can take off their political hat for 1 moment if you can

Des Moines Register endorses Rubio and now have a poll in the works that will show Rubio in a tight race, perhaps even ahead of Cruz and right with Trump. This is orchestrated and not real, but they are trying to push Rubio ahead of Cruz

I know Trumpers would love this, but I was asking people to take off their political hat to look at it honestly.

Its already been decided in many circles that Rubio has won tonights debate, they are already to say that Cruz has blown it etc, it will all be made up, but that is whats going on here

The mSM wants Cruz out, this is crunch time, hey Trumpers want Cruz out as well. Not sure if Trumpers here are capable of looking at anything truthfully anymore, most of you have just gone off the cliff with Trump and left your reason behind.

Look for Frank Luntz to pick a anti Cruz focus group, Cruz will be bombarded by the entire MSM, their goal is to get the people of Iowa to go against Cruz

It wont work hopefully, I think Cruz wins, but it will be some tense days until the winner is announced Monday

And while Trumpers for the most part here have no use for Cruz even though they kind of mouth that they are also for Cruz, this dishonesty by MSM should concern you also

Now with Huck and Santorum throwing Trump their (tacit) endorsement it should help seal the deal in Iowa and ensure a strong start to a primary sweep.
