Sherriff used the words “take down” so this was not a routine traffic stop. He let the other agencies set up a planned ambush area with snipers in a kill zone ready to open fire when the target vehicles did not comply with an arrest attempt and not because of a traffic stop or violation. Once the target vehicles took off after the initial stop the green light was given to shoot to kill. They carried that order too far when an unarmed man got out of the vehicle with his hands up. This is not going away and will simply piss off a great many that ignored this standoff before because it was the wrong fight. Now there is a martyr unjustly murdered. Does not bode well to go away peacefully.
