And in that book, he says you have to follow through on what you say. In page 60, he says you can’t con people, at least not for long. If you don’t deliver the goods, people will catch on.
He even goes on to use Carter as an example of not delivering, and Reagan as a good example.
That’s why i trust him to follow through. That’s what he’s done his whole life and I don’t expect he will do anything different now.
He is also used to getting results, not just talking. That wouldn’t work in business. Only a politician can talk, accomplish nothing, and still get paid.
Doesn't he also say that you always start by asking for twice what you actually expect to get? So wouldn't that mean that he really doesn't expect to be able to get a wall and deporting 11 million people (since that was his opening bid), but really expects to get much less?

So you read a book Trump wrote of his life and you believe it because he wrote it????....It would be more accurate saying you believe in Trump therefore what he writes you can also believe.
Had you done other research about how he follows through , and doesn’t, you might not believe so easily.

I was responding to someone that brought up his books. So I quoted out of the same book. And you join in out of context, knowing nothing but how to be rude.

On page 45, he says to aim big and keep pushing for it, pushing to get what he’s after. He says most of the time he ends up with what he wants.
If you actually read it, he is relentless about pursuing a goal, long after others have given up. And he tries many different avenues to obtain it. He offered many times to fix the NY skating rink, and after the city wasted millions - he got the job and it came in on time and under budget. He is thrifty and fights to get the best price and pushes people to perform and do what they say - something we need at this point badly.
I’m loving this.
What I can’t understand is all the folks here siding with the MSM? We’ve been after them for YEARS! We’ve been yelling and screaming for someone to stand up to them - bitch slap the crap out of them - and when someone comes along and starts doing just that - they get all wussy about it.
We want someone to take on the establishment. The MEDIA - Fox included - are a big part of the establishment.

I really don’t think he can work with the House and Senate. He might be able to hammer something out with the “experts” and present a plan, but once he adopts that plan it is his and its either “my way or the highway” for Congress. Its going to take some doing to convince me is is not an authoritarian person.
I think you’re overlooking Trump’s strong suite. Deal maker.
