I posted much the same, and after thinking it over I’ve come to the conclusion neither side will budge.

But what is with ALL these Freepers who are now in favor of an extremely biased press?

Am I just dreaming, or didn’t I really read all those posts here on FR over the last 16 or 17 years of how our guys shouldn’t put up with the press?

I really don't understand this visceral reaction against Trump taking a stand. I know that we have been complaining about the treatment the R's have gotten from the press since at least the 60's, maybe before. Did everyone here suddenly lose their memory as well as their ability to process strategic thought?

Remember the movie War Game ... the conclusion the computer came to at the end was that the only way to win the game was not to play. Trump is rewriting the rules for dealing with the press, and believe me ... they are scared to death. This is the end for unhinged "journalism" against the right.

In regards to foreign policy, how many of us wish that we had backed away from the negotiation tables a few times over the last decades, rather than forcing a deal just so that we could say we got a deal.

I have been a Freeper for 17 years, but the idiot parade around here this election is going to drive me away. Please people ... remember Reagan's 11th commandment!
