Trump put that up to get a read on his supporters but fact is, he made the decision before the poll was halfway finished.

He makes his own decisions, always has.

Lifelong Dem Trump is such a big baby.

Dubya had to contend with a hostile press for over 8 years, and did so with coolness, character and aplomb.

If Trump can't handle a difficult question, he should consider a different pursuit.

Trump God bless him is trying to get Roger Ailes to come begging because they are going to lose advertising majorally. Then Trump says OK I’ll do it but lose Megyn or forget it. You watch. :-)

He’s pathetic and his antics are beginning to get stale. Grow up or get out of the race!

He’s got the whole thing wrapped around his little finger. Trump is amazing to watch. Operates on a level so far above status quo most don’t understand what’s he’s doing - including many here on FR.

There will be a meeting, everything will be smoothed over, each will be allowed to chip the other one a little, and we’ll all live happily ever after (until we all wake up and realize we’re being played).

If Trump can't handle a difficult question,

Dubya was a punching bag for the media. In fact, all the Republicans historically kowtow to the media - Trump is the first exception. Come to think of it, all the other candidates along with the media can't lay a glove on Trump. (You should have seen the press conference today where he kick some media butt.)I think too many posters here post for themselves trying to convince themselves the truth in what they post.

Trump will be there. Regardless of what anyone thinks of Megyn Kelly, she's already been named as one of the moderators. If Roger Ailes backs down and pulls her from the debate, Fox News loses all credibility. Trump knows this. He knows Ailes has to stand by her. He also knows that if he doesn't show up, he'll be handing everyone else on that stage a gift wrapped talking point ("Do we really want someone like him in the White House when he can't even face the moderators here tonight?") He doesn't want to hand Iowa to Ted Cruz. He'll be there.

I loved it when Carson and Trump were talking of putting on the debates themselves.

Trump, Cruz and whomever else wanted to participate should have put on their own debate. I really don’t like Kelly or Fox or any of the networks.

I’m not sure, though, that this is going to help Trump in the caucus.

You seem to think that people give a rats ass about media Presstitutes. We don’t. I bet he can go do a live, nationwide streaming townhall, open to anyone who wants to pick up the feed, and he’ll get it. And get good numbers.

The man is playing hardball with the status quo. And it’s about damn time someone stepped up to the plate.

FAUX NEWS: We learned from a secret back channel that the Ayatollah and Putin both intend to treat Donald Trump unfairly when they meet with him if he becomes president - a nefarious source tells us that Trump has his own secret plan to replace the Cabinet with his Twitter followers to see if he should even go to those meetings.

I just read the press release from Fox News, and I don’t blame Donald for not having anything to do the the Fox Debate. Definitely not watching.

But Fox News offered its own retort outside of social media.

“We learned from a secret back channel that the Ayatollah and Putin both intend to treat Donald Trump unfairly when they meet with him if he becomes president — a nefarious source tells us that Trump has his own secret plan to replace the Cabinet with his Twitter followers to see if he should even go to those meetings,” a Fox News spokesperson said in a statement Tuesday.

“I said bye bye,” Trump said, calling the response childish during the press conference. “It’s time that somebody plays grown up.”
