No, I call conspiracy conspiracy. Are you suggesting the law in that neck of the woods condones public servants drumming up stories to make their motives and actions appear legitimate?

You asked if I call conspiracy an infraction.

I said, no, infractions are what the police tickets are called in Connecticut.

I do not know how you got from that to suggesting that you called conspiracy an infraction; clearly you did not call conspiracy an infraction, neither did I.

So to be clear:

The officers involved themselves in a conspiracy. They are not on trial.

The trial will be for the infractions (tickets) that the officers wrote on the open carrier.

The open carrier will not be allowed a jury trial, because Connecticut does not allow jury trials for infractions.

I hope that clears up the miscommunication that we are having.
