Too cute!
First: No one is sneaking in.
NOW: sit and think where you last had the pink bag. start there and you may find it. Follow your route.
Tomorrow: Get a pad and start making lists. Everything is remembered better if you can visualize your note as well as search your memory.
Next start clearing away clutter and start putting things away in a definite place all the time.
I have one big basket I can put things in if I don’t feel like going to the other rooms to put away mail, shoes or whatever is in my hand! When it gets full you will be surprised at the treasures you find. Checks, cash, buttons, pens, even the lost phone!
