Where to begin?
A) I never said “by myself”.
B) You have no idea what I’ll be defending... do you? Or where it is. (And we’ll keep it that way.)
C) Some things are worth dying for.
D) “Bugging out” is pretty damn risky too. If the S really does hit the fan, there is precious little safety to be expected by anyone, anywhere.

If there are people there and he is defending a position he will have help. Running is exhausting.
