my BIGGEST reason for voting for ted was integrity.
the NY comment, pitting state against state and this now.
trump’s following is fanatical. they’re gonna show at the polls and he’s gonna win.

Some of them have come out and declared that intention here on FR.
Others are too afraid to voice it publicly.
So what. Then he says, “Well I just got this HMO that Obama leashed on the United Stats and it sucks.....a 50 percent raise in premiums and guess what? I don’t get to see my doctor like Obama promised.” Now that would have been incredible and given him a lot of support.
Instead he says, “I don’t have insurance because of Obama and his Obamacare mess.”
Oops, he does have insurance. Which would have been better for the supposed smart Cruz?
This BC/BS dropping PPO’s has been well publicized here in TX. I think it was on the front page of every newspaper in TX about a month and a half ago.
I know a friend who has been griping about it for at least that long. I will ask her how she heard about it. IIRC, she first heard about it from her insurance agent, but BC/BS did send a letter, too, although, I think that was after the brouhaha was in the papers here in TX.
Are Cruz supporters dumb as rocks or what? Everyone knows that Clyde Barnum Trump’s lemming parade can not let FACTS mess up their Pied Piper march to Nirvana just over the next cliff. Its those nifty Nuevo York hot button sound bytes that only count.
And there's the difference between you and Cruz. You knew what insurance coverage you had. He, apparently, didn't.
All of our insurances have been altered compliments of Obama. Most of us poured over options and made lots of telephone calls to figure it out.
Hard to find a man competent for President that can't figure out his own family's health insurance......or he isn't telling us the entire truth.
Vote Trump’s fault.
My wife and I are on our 3rd insurance switch now due to Obamacare. We had BCBS PPO last year and were dumped into the HMO plan (which covered none of the decent hospitals in Chicago and NONE of my wife’s doctors). So it was basically like having no coverage for us.
Cruz probably should have said we no longer have the coverage he wanted, but it was a miss-step.
However, why are all of his miss-steps huge news where the opposition demands that he be taken at his word when on the other side, the long and repeated words of Trump are to be discarded for whatever his most recent pronouncement is?

FYI, we found pretty much the only other PPO available in our state and switched. But we didn’t bother to tell BCBS. we figure they can find out when we never pay for a crap HMO plan that we didn’t want. They gave us no time to find an alternative, so we figured the same amount of time was appropriate for them.
i’ve been the most consistently wishy washy back and forth person on the board.
never followed a primary before and general election isn’t even a choice.
never had to choose between republicans before and it is a LOT harder than just voting R against D.

Flip flopping is a weak mental state, misrepresenting to manipulate is a character issue. Neither seem unusual for Trump lemmings.
I think the Cruz camp needs an overhaul. I think we have a fox in the henhouse (to use an old expression).
If you recall, as soon as Sarah Palin launched out for Trump, some of the Cruz STAFF had a hissy-fit .. and were saying a few unkind words.
If you also recall, Cruz had to shut that down, by making his own statement re Palin.
I’ve been suspicious ever since then that somebody within the crew is making trouble.
And .. just to fuel those suspicions .. this seems to be occurring ever since Trump’s new spokesperson WAS TURNED DOWN BY CRUZ (she tried to get hired by Cruz). And, I’ve heard her say publically some pretty snarky stuff about Cruz.
Too many coincidences .. usually means a rat in the pack somewhere.
Actually, I did not know that I had been downgraded to an HMO until I went to see my doctor and was told that he was not on the HMO. Our insurance broker had assured us that our existing plan was grandfathered.
After I found out we had been switched I contacted the broker who then advised us that our plan had been cancelled. I contacted the insurance company directly and was told no, our plan had not been cancelled, it must have been a clerical error. After working my way up the company food chain I was finally told yes, our plan had been cancelled, sorry for the inconvenience.
So yeah, I can totally believe that Cruz could have been switched to an HMO and not know it.
Maybe our household was just so paranoid over all the changes that we made all our phone calls before we went to the doctor. We really spent a lot of time trying to figure out what we had/didn’t have.
i think i was quite pro Cruz up until the NY comment.
but i wouldnt be surprised if there were days i said good things about trump.
i dont think either is a bad man.
next primary, i will have a list prepared of what i want in a candidate, i guess.
like i said, voting R against D is easy.

It was only then that Palin's endorsement happened, and all she did was make a speech and one or two campaign stops with him.
I was wondering if the endorsement becoming a reality wasn't Mama Bear protecting her cubs. It was a first, Cruz apologizing for his staff.
That's pure speculation, but it make some sense, doesn't it?
And what's the result? Right now, Cruz probably lost ALL the vote that cares about the plight of Veterans. And probably all the "mama bears" out there who wouldn't want their children to be verbally attacked.
