Hillary Clinton laughed off a question about her health today from a woman who said she'd heard on Fox News that the Democratic presidential candidate "was really not equipped to be in the White House" because she was ill.
The question drew laughter from the crowd of roughly 450 at a campaign event in Clinton, Iowa, and an eye roll from Clinton.
"Oh my. Well, you know, they say nearly anything about me. I've got to tell you," Clinton, replied with a smile, referring to Fox News. "There are several themes they keep beating the drums on."
Clinton, 68, then addressed her health.
"I'll match my endurance against anybody," she said to loud applause. "And last spring, my doctor put out a letter and you know, said what great health."(snip)
Even so, many Republicans have questioned the former secretary of state's health.
On Saturday, however, Clinton laughed off the assertions and used the question as an opportunity to mock Fox News, which she said her late mother often watched -- for an unexpected reason.
"I would come home from the Senate or I would come home from the State Department, and she'd be watching Fox News, and I'd say, 'Mom, why are you watching Fox News? They make up so much stuff, and you know, they just have a political agenda,'" Clinton said.

This question doesn’t pass the smell test. The Democrat questioner includes a reference to Fox News. This is an easy set-up so that Clinton can begin to get her health issue off the table. In the future she can laugh off any health question with, “That’s a Fox News conspiracy .”
Not only is she the smartest woman in the world, but the healthiest, too.

Valid question. She fainted a few years ago and the fall resulted in a blood clot in her brain. That was a severe head injury and clots in the brain invariably cause brain damage. I am surprised there is little talk about this. Seems to get lost in all her past scandals but it is every bit as relevant.
Please! We need to back off der Hildebeast. Don’t even question her on that stuff. Her symptoms of one with compulsive lying disorder are because of a deeper illness. It is a pathological addiction to lying, known in psychiatry, as a result of a deeper illness: narcissistic personality disorder. Asking her questions only feeds into her addiction. It is like giving an alcoholic a drink. Those questions just enables her to practice her lies. We must be understanding and respectful of her sickness. How would you like it if your mother had that problem and she embarrassed herself with lies that anyone could tell were false? How would you feel, as you watched your mother give a sermon at your church, and swore on the Book of God that she was giving God’s truth; only to be telling Satin’s lies? You would not let her have that opportunity.
Picture this: Der Hildebeast raising her left hand and putting her right hand on the Qur’an and saying:
“I do solemnly affirm that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”
