Trump didn’t forget to claim it on a required FEC form.

Yes, Trump does not have any campaign connected loans.

What if you filled out your tax forms and “forgot” to include your w2 form? I guess that’s illegal. Ted did everything he was supposed to do. His loans were for all to see. Someone found a technicality and thenproduced a false public smear where nothing was found.
Stop repeating lies.

Maybe he has,,,,,I don’t know, because it will not be until after the election that all the paperwork is completed. This matter occurred during cruz’s 2012 election for senator. And BTW, He did repot the loans to the FEC. There are 5 cash transfers labeled Loans from Ted Cruz to his own campaign.

What there is not, is a form saying that he receive money from Goldman Sachs,or citi but that money did not go directly to the campaign. It was teds. it was then loaned to the campaign by ted. the FEC records show this clearly.

The reports showing where the money came from can be found in the Senate Committee reports that the FEC also has access to as it’s part of the record keeping process for public disclosure.

IMO, other than a possible error where some form did not have the information on it that it should have, in spite of that the information was all disclosed.

I am done with this for now..

“Trump didn¿½€™t forget to claim it on a required FEC form.”

Still, I wish Trump would have disclosed this up front. I can't help but wonder if the reason he refused to tell voters about this was because he didn't want word to get around . . .

Now I wonder what else Trump is hiding. This is a problem for Trump. I hope he will get out in front of this and tell the truth about what happened and more importantly, WHY? I like Trump. I really do.

You have to consider where this faux scandal orginated. Hint: a certain New York newspaper that is consistently creating fake scandals about Republicans (they had one every few weeks about W. Bush). And people believe it, believe it or not.

Cruz filed two financial disclosures at the same time. One listed it (Senate one), one did not (FEC one). When the omission was discovered on the FEC one, Cruz responded with an amended one.

Does that sound like a deliberate attempt to hide something, or a bit of botched paperwork by a staffer?

If you miss checking a box on your tax form one year, are you instantly a tax fraud? No, the IRS flags it, calls it to your attention and gives you the opportunity to file an amended return.

Trump didn/t forget to claim the G/S-Citbank loans on a FEC form required by law.

And when Trump dealt w/ G/S, he was not a candidate for office trying to dupe trusting Texans into voting for him.

BACKSTORY Cruz/s Senate election fairy tale has become legendary......portraying himself as a scrappy populist putting everything on the line to overcome a wealthy establishment opponent.

He was whining in the media, telling trusting Texans that that he, and his faithful little wife, were forced to liquidate their entire family savings (of slightly more than $1 million) to fuel a come-from-behind win in the Republican primary.

NOW TRUSTING TEXANS LEARN Cruz did not liquidate family assets.....he got his hands on over a million dollars from his hefty margin accounts at G/S and Citibank......and did not disclose this on FEC reports (to keep it a secret from trusting Texans).

Cruz did not disclose loans on FEC reports (required by law) b/c Texans would have discovered he was not the aw-shucks rube he pretended to be. He continued the rube act in order to milk votes from trusting Texans.

At the same time, he also did not disclose he was a dual Canadian citizen......the Harvard-educated lawyer w/ two Ivy League degrees said he didn't know.

===================================================

UT, OH Cruz told Levin he used the Wall Street loans for the campaign/s TV ads......but these loans have never been reported as campaign related. Cruz does not need the FEC/s permission to fully disclose the info. What is he hiding?

EXHIBIT ONE <><> In January 2016, the New York Times reported that Cruz and his wife had taken out low-interest loans from Goldman Sachs (her employer) and Citibank, and failed to report the nearly $1 million in loans on Federal Election Commission disclosure statements as required by law.[97] Cruz disclosed the loans on his Senate financial disclosure forms in July 2012, but not on the Federal Election Commission form.[98] The loans were largely repaid by later campaign fundraising.....even though Cruz/s spox recently said no donor paid off the loans. A spokesperson for Cruz said his failure to report the loans to the FEC was "inadvertent" and said he would be filing supplementary paperwork.[97]

EXHIBIT TWO <><> Time magazine reported on a potential violation of ethics rules by Senate candidate Cruz. ........by failing to publicly disclose his financial relationship with Caribbean Equity Partners Investment Holdings during the 2012 campaign, Cruz called his failure to disclose these connections an inadvertent omission.[96]
