Last time round it was Romney vs I can hardly remember who else in the primary. A giant nothing burger. I didn’t bother to vote in that primary.

Not a huuuuge surprise, but it should show the Trump folks who they are aligning with...this guy (Trump) has been a Liberal Democrat for most of his adults life...

With all due respect, who would that be that the Trump folks are aligning with?

For example, I voted for California Governor Jerry Brown when he was running against Bill Clinton in Dem primary. I also voted for Hillary Clinton when she was running against our dear leader in the 2008 primary.

Does that make me a Democrat? You may think so... however, in the General Elections, I voted for every Republican since Gerald Ford. IN the past,I have been involved in local elections supporting GOP candidates. My primary votes
So my primary votes have nothing to do with my political persona...**

These websites and some posters here are really going over the top over every little thing that comes out on each candidate....Only the residents of Iowa can vote now anyway...Buckley said chose the most conservative candidate that can be elected....that will become evident soon enough.

Meanwhile there are many important issues being ignored because this primary fire is sucking in all the air.

**Eh, should you doubt my conservative creds, I’ve been on FR about 10 years longer than you...

Trump hasn't been part of the eGOP "scene" in DC and those that have spent their entire lives climbing the social ladder in the eGOP are scared they won't retain their positions if Trump wins. Period. THAT is why they oppose Trump.
