We got over there and she didn't just have snow on her driveway but 1 1/2 inch ice on a driveway that was probably 100 feet long and 8 feet wide. The ice was there because she had neglected to get someone soon enough after the first snowfall. So we were really tackling at least 3 or 4 snowfalls.
We got to work clearing the snow and all the ice. It took us at least 3 hours. And you know what our pay was? 5 bucks to be split 4 ways.
She did take pity on us and served us some hot chocolate.
If I were in NJ I would have owed the state $445 for the privilege.
