Presidential candidate Ted Cruz opened up a large margin of support from those who participated in last week's Must Read Alaska straw poll. We closed the online survey before the debate on Thursday. Here are the results:
Readers of Must Read Alaska, the Alaska Republican Party's weekly emailed newsletter, trend Republican and many are politically active.
Ted Cruz won 34 percent, Donald Trump won 27 percent and Marco Rubio won 17 percent. No other candidate won enough support in this particular survey to be awarded delegates to the Republican National Convention. When the Presidential Preference Poll is held on March 1, candidates must receive at least 13 percent of the vote to gain delegates to the convention in Cleveland.
Cruz came to Alaska in 2014 to campaign for now-Senator Dan Sullivan.

Cry me a river, you’d be singing a different tune if Trump had won the straw poll, but he didn’t so deal with it.

Nice list but Trump (Glory to Him) supporters disregard it from some alternate universe some of them appear to reside in.

Old news.
So what is the latest official elapsed time definition of “old news”?
24 hours?
The modern world really moves fast these days...

You are being blasted in post #7, without the courtesy of pinging you.

Trump hasn't been part of the eGOP "scene" in DC and those that have spent their entire lives climbing the social ladder in the eGOP are scared they won't retain their positions if Trump wins. Period. THAT is why they oppose Trump.
