Trump: Biden would run if Clinton indicted
MSNBC ^

Posted on 01/20/2016 4:29:01 PM PST by bryan999

Republican front-runner Donald Trump on Tuesday suggested that Vice President Joe Biden would run if Hillary Clinton were indicted and put on trial for her handling of her email while secretary of state.

“If she – for instance, gets indicted – if she has to go on trial, they’re going to have Biden or somebody else come in, we’ll see what happens. I wouldn’t mind that either,” Trump said in an interview with radio host Simon Conway, boasting that he didn’t think Biden would do well. “But he could come in. I’ve heard of numerous people. But I have a feeling if she’s indicted – which a lot of people – say she will be. I say maybe not because they’re going to protect her but a lot of people say she will be.”

Trump is relying on quite a bit of speculation here – that Clinton could be criminally prosecuted for her use of a private server while secretary of state and that Biden might run instead – and portraying Democrats as a wrecked party.

Biden has made it clear he has no plans to run: after much speculation, he said last year he felt there wasn’t enough time for both his family to mourn the loss of Biden’s son, heal, and for him to mount a successful bid.

Trump vs. Biden in a debate.

That could get weird

I'll never forget Joe Biteme a-laughin' and a-grinin' throughout his debate with Ryan.

LOL But funny as hell. He would need to keep Melania & Ivanka far, far away.

I thought Thanksgiving Week was the cut off time for Joe to make his bid. I guess that Red Line can be shifted around like the other Red Line ultimatums.

"Trump: Biden would run if Clinton indicted "

This will be timed to give biden least exposure to the media and republican primary candidates.

Primary deadlines maybe but wouldn’t think there would be general deadlines ahead of the conventions.

Trump,is making the same mistake McCain made.....sure, the media love him now....as long as he’s wreaking havoc on the republican side. The mediawhores were McCain’s base, they loved him as long as he was a thorn in Bush’s siide. As soon as he was the nominee they were on him like Bill on an intern and cut him to pieces. It’ll be the same with trump. If he gets the nod, the gloves come off and the knives come out. The media will do whatever it takes to install Hillary or whatever demhole replaces her after she’s indicted.

Dear Abby,

My husband hasn't worked for the last 14 years. All he does is get dressed in the morning and hop in his fancy car to visit his cronies.

I know he's cheated on me many times with young girls who could be his granddaughters.

I know because he brags about this to me. He smokes fancy cigars and drinks the most expensive champagne day and night.

We sleep in separate beds because he`s always telling me he knows I'm a lesbian and my varicose veins and ugly face turn him off!

Should I clobber him with my frying pan, or should I leave him, Abby? Your advice would be appreciated.

Mad as Hell

Dear Mad as Hell,

You don't have to take that kind of treatment from any man.

I suggest you pack your bags and move out a.s.a.p.!

Don't resort to clobbering him with the frying pan, and try to act like a lady!

Remember... you're running for President of the United States, so try acting like it!

The media loves Trump? That is news to me. What network or paper is on his side?

Lol. Trump shares his love with the media at every campaign event. They are the ones he refers to as dishonest scum at the back of the room.

I feel the love coming all the way through the Youtubes to my screen. /sarc

Perhaps you’re right...let me rephrase it......they don’t love him and shower him with adoration and puff pieces. But they’re not attacking him either. They’re taking their shots, sure. But the heavy artillery won’t come out until after the convention.

Doesn’t mean anything .... they will have some pimp federal judge rule that he must be put on the ballot (remember New Jersey) to ensure social justice and you can appeal in 2017 —>.

The mob wants Warren.

The question is, will she do a deal with Biden or will it be RFK vs. HHH all over again?

He is already too late to get on most of the early state ballots. There are deadlines.

So what?

The convention is a plenary body, it makes its own rules.

“But the heavy artillery won’t come out until after the convention.”

Trump is well aware of that. The media will come after anyone who is not a dimoKKKRAT. I think Trump has shown he can handle it. He still calls out reporters and newspapers by name he does not like.

Biden WILL be the nominee.
One Hillary is gone it will happen.
The Dems wont allow Comrade Sanders to be their nominee. And the case against Hillary is very strong with the FBI investigation going on, so likely she will be out.

Right now Biden would be a tougher foe than the other 2.

LBJ ==> Hillary
HHH ==> Biden
Gene McCarthy ==> Sanders
RFK ==> Warren
(not in play in 1968) ==> Gore & Kerry

Just wondering. There are filing deadlines. How can someone get a nomination if Hillary withdraws. I mean delegates cast their vote for a person particular. What, someone else comes in at the eleventh hour and just scoops them up? There IS a process. Does it not matter? Oh, it’s okay, Biden can run in her place. We lost our way a long time ago when we decided character doesn’t matter.
