You are the living epitome as to why conservatives don’t win elections.
A mere handful of Conservatives have been standing up and fighting in D.C., and you gleefully stick a knife in their back to support a loud mouth, lifelong Democrat.
I understand he has invited "Cybil" to campaign with him Saturday in Iowa.
The guy on the left is a mannequin. Either that, or his shiny hands betray a serious skin condition.
********************************************************************************
Perhaps he is a TRUMP (PEACE BE UPON HIM) supporter?
The ‘guy’on the left is a mannequin : )
How many billion dollar companies have you owned?
Pray America wakes
Isn’t it called the “Vermont Country Store”? I get their catalogue with pictures of remarkably similar decor. I’ve even been in one in Vermont. Neat places to browse but their stuff is fairly pricey and available on the internet from other places for a whole lot less money.
December 19-20, 2007 Deposition:
Trump: My net worth fluctuates, and it goes up and down with the markets and with attitudes and my feelings, even my own feelings, but I try.
Ceresney: Let me understand that a little. You said your net worth goes up and down based upon your own feelings?
Trump: Yes, even my own feelings, as to where the world is, where the world is going, and that can change rapidly from day to day...
Ceresney: When you publically state a net worth number, what do you base your number on?
Trump: I would say it's my general attitude at the time that the question maybe asked. And as I say, it varies.
Yea, look at that dummy on the left just sitting there.......
How many billion dollar companies have you owned?
I guess you’re stuck with that.
Without daddy’s money made from government subsidized housing, repeated bankruptcy bailouts & leaving tax payers footing the bill, Trump would be nothing but a two bit street hustler.
'Go back to DU' is not rebuttal.
How many multi-billion dollar companies do you own? You sound like Occupy Wallstreet.
That looks like the Ram’s Head Inn in Savage, MD...
It appears you didn’t read most of the above posts by Trump supporters. The guy who WAS carrying the banner for conservatism less than a year ago is now the devil incarnate to many Trump supporters.
I heard an interesting perspective on Trump from a psychiatrist this morning. To paraphrase, “...you are either his friend, tolerating his insults and criticisms without responding or his mortal enemy. There is nothing in between, which suggests an interesting kind of psychosis.”
The point is that Washington brought a dignity, discipline, and temperance to an office -- and a country -- sorely in need of stability and unity after a long war and a sharply divided electorate.
Can you see The Rump bringing any of those things to the office of the Presidency? Really? Honestly?
He declined to be crowned Emperor. I don't believe any triumphant military man has ever done that before in the whole history of the world. He would have been shocked and saddened by the cult worship of a bombastic know-nothing running for the office he -- even more than the Constitution -- defined.
You need to stop that kind of foolishness. Don't you know that a large number of constituents consider a pious politician to be maddeningly dangerous because of his belief in salvation and afterlife? There is an argument that a devoutly religious politician may push the nuclear button to bring on eternity. If you feel Trump is dangerous, know that many will feel that Cruz is dangerous for much the same reason.
Please do not take offense for I am just letting you know that extreme rhetoric can lead to an extreme reply.
Read Shakespeare much? Honestly what other General would you hear about for not accepting a crown?
Julius Caesar
ACT III SCENE II The Forum.
ANTONY | Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears;
I come to bury Caesar, not to praise him.
The evil that men do lives after them;
The good is oft interred with their bones;
So let it be with Caesar. The noble Brutus
Hath told you Caesar was ambitious:
If it were so, it was a grievous fault,
And grievously hath Caesar answer'd it.
Here, under leave of Brutus and the rest--
For Brutus is an honourable man;
So are they all, all honourable men--
Come I to speak in Caesar's funeral.
He was my friend, faithful and just to me:
But Brutus says he was ambitious;
And Brutus is an honourable man.
He hath brought many captives home to Rome
Whose ransoms did the general coffers fill:
Did this in Caesar seem ambitious?
When that the poor have cried, Caesar hath wept:
Ambition should be made of sterner stuff:
Yet Brutus says he was ambitious;
And Brutus is an honourable man.
You all did see that on the Lupercal
I thrice presented him a kingly crown,
Which he did thrice refuse: was this ambition?
Yet Brutus says he was ambitious;
And, sure, he is an honourable man.
I speak not to disprove what Brutus spoke,
But here I am to speak what I do know.
You all did love him once, not without cause:
What cause withholds you then, to mourn for him?
O judgment! thou art fled to brutish beasts,
And men have lost their reason. Bear with me;
My heart is in the coffin there with Caesar,
And I must pause till it come back to me. |
