Palin eyeing energy secretary in potential Trump administration
CNN ^ | 01/18/2016 | Eugene Scott

Sarah Palin knows the position she wants in a Donald Trump administration: Energy secretary.

"I think a lot about the Department of Energy, because energy is my baby: oil and gas and minerals, those things that God has dumped on this part of the Earth for mankind's use instead of us relying on unfriendly foreign nations," she told CNN's Jake Tapper in an interview that aired Sunday on State of the Union.

We need to abolish this department entirely as it does not good but spends billions to fund green energy scams and is a slush fund for climate control programs that enrich fatcats.

Palin would need to work herself out of a job.

This agency should be one that Trump dismantles. Has never done one thing it was designed to do.

Well, John the Baptist could come back and endorse Trump, but it wouldn’t make a damn to me. I’m not selling out my principles to support him, period.

It’s a tie.

CNN is owned by Time Warner which is run by Jeff Bewkes, a long time Democrat supporter.

Yahoo is run by Marissa Mayer, an Obama bundler.

I thought this was a dept that could go bye-bye in a Trump admin.

Breaks my heart to see how the GOP has become a insane asylum. Trump is a whore at heart. Shame to see Palin working the same street corner as trump does.

Cruz himself has credited Palins support for his senate win. Now, you ungrateful people choose to call Palin a whore. Disgusting!!!!!

this is an old article, and on something that hasn’t happened yet, and you are on here calling someone names using really foul language. Cruz is bleeding support thanks to posts like yours. I’m not joking either.

He is my senator, so I kindly ask you to knock it off, so that at the end of this campaign I still have a senator left. With so many of the truly disgusting Cruz supporters on here, they may hurt his next senate run as well.

So you like Cruz as a senator but not as president? Why? Cruz has proven is a true conservative. Trump is nothing more than a parasite.
Cruz is my man and will be proud to cast my vote for him. But if push came to shove I can hold my nose and vote for trump. After voting for Romney and Mccain I know how to wash the shame away.

I would rather see Trump than Cruz, as you would rather have Cruz than Trump. so what. Honestly though, these horrid posts are really getting disgusting. No need to respond to me again unless you just have to have the last word.

Ted will be OK. He has a bigger backer than Donald.

Thank you for a very helpful post. I for one, wasn’t aware of the specific responsibilities split between agencies. A very counterintuitive split imho.

I encourage you to keep pointing out the reality to folks as needed.

Except, the Dept of Energy is one of those departments we need to get rid of.
