One would think Carson or Christie or Jebbie would be leading in MD.

Trump doubling up Cruz in Maryland says he is attracting support from people who WILL turn out to vote when the GOP offers a decent candidate. They elected Hogan and they will elect Trump.

Starting to be my read too - been donating to Cruz but get the sense that while he's the most conservative, he doesn't generate enough widespread excitement to get the needed voters out in November.

I've thought about Trump's potential ability to eat into the massive dimocratic advantage with black voters.

He won't have to eat too far into the divide. I say the following without any intention of disrespect for Trump, who I have decided to support:

The wealth, the self-promotion, the private plane, the beautiful and loyal woman... all this sounds like a hip-hop dream. His opponent, on the other hand, is an old white lady whose husband "dissed" publicly. Bigtime. I suspect he'll get more than the typical 10% of the black vote.

If he "goes there" loud and clear with what dimocratic policies have done to black America, he could get more.

The two I mentioned are both hard workers with their own small businesses, kids with real world degrees, church goers, and despise “hip-hop” culture. One has a son in the Army.

As I write this, I just rememembered another one I see less frequently but he’s been a black conservative since I’ve know him, so no surprise there.

The two ladies, Diamond and Silk, may well be the voices of more, uncountable at this stage. There will be some real demographic surprises in primaries after New Hampshire I suspect.

I have no doubt “livin’ large” is some portion of Trump’s reason for support.

Of course, I was speaking in general, and only speculating that his personality could attract a larger share of the black vote.

I love Diamond and Silk. They're hilarious, but there's some bite in there, too.
