There is a lot to say negative about King; commie, sure. Ignored Planned Parenthood and Sanger - yep. Adulterer, yep.
Martin Luther - Jew hater. But great man.
Lincoln - flawed. Plus, butt ugly wife (couldn’t resist)
Jefferson - liked young girls, rationalized his relationship with Hemmings.
Columbus - likely flawed.
Ghandi - likely flawed.
My point - and flame on, I don’t care - is no matter how great they were, they were human, and thus flawed, sinful, etc. I would also add because King was black, doesn’t mean we don’t have to honor him, too. His niece, BTW, kicks butt and is great to listen to.

I suspect that if MLK had lived on we would never have elected this President and the life of the average African-American would be a lot better today. James Earl Ray gave us the race baiting and race hustling world we all are suffering from today.
Flawed as he was he was the right man for the time and the need.
