How about a national health care flat tax that is separate and apart from the income tax? Everyone and every entity pays one percent of gross income. Period. From that fund, everyone gets basic healthcare, if they want it. That should do it. Is that nuts?

I presume that was satirical/rhetorical....

In case it WASN’T, I have a few points to counter the thought of such a fiasco (what ELSE comes out of govt):

- Not all Citizens have ‘income’; so the plan is to cover ALL Citizens, or just taxpayers?
- Will this be tiered like the existing income tax? where 47% don’t pay anything, and the bottom 5% get $$ back they never made?

And bump to the top: From what authority? I read NO authority (A1S8) for Congress to even LOOK at ‘insurance’/h’care; let alone taxing for any purpose they have NO authority (aka ‘slush fund’).
