Didn’t Mondale say he would raise taxes? How did he do?

I fully expect the GOP to line up behind it.

“new top rate of 52 percent”

And off we go, back to the past, when the top marginal rate crested at around 90%.

Don’t look at the price tag.

Its FREE health care.

People will vote for FREE stuff from Santa Bernie.

Ah, single payer. Yup, that ALWAYS works in other countries.

Until it fails.

Of course, following dim bulb Sander’s implementation, the next move will be to find ways to phase out those pesky private practices that “unexpectedly” start growing. Happened in the UK whilst I was there. Will happen here.

One thing about progressives, they always think their car will be the one that’ll penetrate the brick wall.

I do, too. Hitlery lies and deceives and tries to hide what she wants. Bernie is fairly honest.

The rich are going to pay for every one else’s health care.

For most voters, that trade-off is just fine.

As long as I’m not paying the extra taxes...

Bernie’s a slow learner. His home state of Vermont had great plans to do a single payer health care system until they found out how expensive “free” health care can be.

Yup.

But I’ve learned never to underestimate the American people’s willingness to vote themselves presents.

I would clarify the rino, gop-e, vichy republican leadership, and their coward enablers, will line up and approve this.

Hardly not all will. I can’t paint good folks with a broad brush just ecause the leadership is hijacked.

If there were not good ones left the rino leadership would not have purged a bunch from leadershp seats.

Oh, great! Higher income taxes to insure that medical care misery is shared across the board.

No one will be able to afford alternative health care by paying for it directly.

The joys of socialism.

That does not include the 15% SSI and Medicare self employment tax or the new 6.5% payroll tax or any state and local taxes that people may have to pay. That is a tax rate of federal taxes at close to 75%. Yeah, that's reasonable!

Bernie really wants a wealth tax. So does Hillary. BUt, they can’t figure out how to get it. Income tax is a proxy for that.
