Via NPR: "Well, if I ever ran for office, I'd do better as a Democrat than as a Republican," Donald Trump told Playboy in 1990. "And that's not because I'd be more liberal, because I'm conservative. But the working guy would elect me. He likes me."

Nov 26, 2016: Donald Trump: Mean-Spirited GOP Won't Win Elections

"...Romney's solution of "self deportation" for illegal aliens made no sense and suggested that Republicans do not care about Hispanics in general, Trump says.

"He had a crazy policy of self deportation which was maniacal," Trump says. "It sounded as bad as it was, and he lost all of the Latino vote," Trump notes. "He lost the Asian vote. He lost everybody who is inspired to come into this country."

The GOP has to develop a comprehensive policy "to take care of this incredible problem that we have with respect to immigration, with respect to people wanting to be wonderful productive citizens of this country," Trump says.".........

2004 to Wolf Blitzer:

...."Well, you'd be shocked if I said that in many cases I probably identify more as a Democrat," said [Donald] Trump at the time. "It just seems that the economy does better under the Democrats than the Republicans," he added. In 2007, he said that Hillary would be a good person to negotiate with the Iranians since she's "always surrounded herself with very good people. He also said Rudy Giuliani and Mitt Romney would be good negotiators as well.

As for the Second Amendment, abortion, and health care, Mr. Trump was decidedly on the progressive side of things. Favoring a pro-choice position, a ban on assault weapons, and supportive universal health care.".....

Barf. He was a good anti liberal to run against Fauxahantus, but picking hims would be a disaster in the making. Trump would run better with a dead albatros around his neck than with Scott Brown as a VP pick. That was his way of thanking his host or a Machiavellian misdirection to shore up NH, which I doubt since Brown is a carpet bagger.

IMO: Best choices for Trump at this point in in time is Kasich (OH), Christie(NJ), Walker(WI).

If he felt he was going to have trouble with Florida or the south in general, then the candidates to pick are Rubio or Huckabee.

Some would like him to pick Cruz, but that is a waste of a pick as if Trump gets the nomination, Texas is safely red.

Trump needs a rust belt running mate to break the Democratic legerdemain there. We pretty will much know the democrats have a +% advantage just in voter fraud there. Trump need a big margin.

He is hardly “favoring” Scott Brown.

What happened is that a woman shouted out “vice president” from the audience, and Trump, as he usually does, pointed at her and smiled and acknowledged her contribution.

Then he said some nice words about Brown, who was standing right next to him or a few feet away.

It seems I have spend a lot of time today correcting misleading headlines and erroneous stories. Can we send all the “writers” and “reporters” back to J school please? Or maybe back to catechism class.

LOL, the Cruzers are getting desperate. Brown invites Trump to a small rally, Brown is on stage with Trump, an audience member shouts “Brown for VP” and Trump smiles and says that it may be a good idea, and the Cruz/GOPe go crazy. Trump, #1 in all polls in all states, is living rent free in their minds. Beautiful!

As usual, you post deceptive and misleading stories from deceptive and misleading alleged writers ('Ed Straker' a fake name if there ever was one) this has already been debunked, read 'em and weep wifey:

Courtesy of FREEPER 'true believer forever':

Here's the T-R-U-T-H about Scott Brown. Trump was speaking at his No BS BBQ today, which several other candidates have already done, and more will in the future.

A young girl in the audience asked Trump if she could come up on stage and take a selfie with him. Scott Brown said, no. Probably because he was the host and maybe concerned with security. I don't know.

Then Trump overrode Brown and let the girl come up on stage and get her selfie. The audience booed Brown for not letting the girl come up on stage. While that was going on, Trump said, Well, if Scott were running for office, he would let her come up. Audience laughter.

Then Trump asked Brown if he was going to be running for office again.

Immediately someone from the audience yelled out, how about as your VP to Trump?

Then, Trump, because he has good manners, said something complimentary, like "yeah, yeah, that would be a good idea" as opposed to saying to the audience member, are you kidding me? why would I ever consider this guy, thus insulting the host who was showing Trump his hospitality.

And this becomes Trump floating Scott Brown as his VP.

Desperate.

If you had any real integrity, you would ask the mod to take this thread down, it is based on nothing but the rabid venom of you and your fellow Trump-hating clowns, who need to quit the lying.

Here’s another disingenuous anti-Trump story to add to the list.

It’s ok though. After Trump becomes President & destroys all the progressive infrastructure folks with TDS can begin to heal.

Go Trump!

Once he wins the nomination, Trump will be going hard to the middle. It will be interesting to see the reaction of his supporters on FR.
