The Comey Plan: What An Indictment of Hillary Clinton Would Mean For The Obama Legacy

In June of 2013, President Barack Obama reached outside the spectrum of political logic to select a former Bush appointed Republican as Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. At 6’8”, FBI Director James Comey stands tall amongst his fellow members of the Obama administration not only due to his height, but also his consistent financial support of Republicans John McCain and Mitt Romney in their bids for President.

Why would Obama select a Republican, with nearly four decades of successfully prosecuting high-profile individuals for obstruction of justice and lying to the FBI, to a ten-year appointment as its Director? To preserve his legacy through the pursuit of justice against Hillary Clinton.

On January 22, 2009, a day after assuming office as Secretary of State, Clinton signed a “Sensitive Compartmented Information Nondisclosure Agreement” outlining criminal penalties and blocking any future government positions for “any unauthorized disclosure” of classified information.

On September 11, 2012, just weeks before the presidential election, a series of coordinated, terrorist attacks took place at the American Embassy compound in Benghazi, Libya, killing U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens, Foreign Service Officer Sean Smith, and two CIA contractors.

I am one of the few who believes it will happen. This is rationale for how Obama can throw her under the bus.

I think Obama has several reasons for throwing HIllary under the bus, but the biggest is that Valerie Jarrett does not want Hillary to become President. Hillary said if elected she would pick Cheryl Mills to be ‘senior aide’.

Liz Warren said she would keep VJ on as ‘senior aide’.

Valerie does not plan to give up her position. She will throw HIllary under the bus if it means she has a chance to keep her position of power and wealth.

The FBI can recommend prosecution, but the AG will decide whether to prosecute and the answer will be no.

You just shot down dozens of ignoramus news commentators and writers who keep saying that the “FBI will indict Hillary Clinton...yabadabado”.

Thanks for catching that.

First time I saw that “quote” from Michelle Obama-—if it’s an actual quote.

“Moo” does not displace “the Wookie” as my favorite nickname for Michelle.

And the fallout from that will be nuclear. Comey will resign, loudly.

And then he will talk, also loudly.

More likely is that James Comey is no more a stand up guy than Patrick Fitzgerald, a man we were assured was strictly on the up-and-up, but whose sole purpose was to ensnare either Scooter Libby or Karl Rove -- and preferably Rove -- in a process crime that had nothing whatsoever to do with exposing an intelligence officer or asset.

We were repeatedly told Fitzgerald was a "straight shooter" and a Republican.

He was neither.

More likely, Comey is another useful mole who's flown under the radar so he can serve his lib/prog masters. [He might, for example, have been slated for the Supreme Court, but he'll do just fine as the man who exonerated Hillary Clinton. There are plenty of other untraceable judges that can be used to sneak the next SCOTUS nominee through a somnolent Republican Senate.]

Sorry, but I'm afraid I must demur. The article posits in Barack 0bama a competence he has never betrayed even the slightest capability of exercising. Nor have his senior administration aides. Biden is a buffoon, and Vajayjay is hardly an evil supergenius.

Even if we believed that Comey was the truffle that blind pig 0bama once unearthed, we would have to believe that he would be willing to risk employing a genuinely honest FBI director during the waning years of his administration. 0bama is a fool, to be sure, but he isn't a suicidal one, and he would never plant such a dangerous a mandrake in his own garden -- if Comey were indeed such a man.

Here's a far more likely scenario: Comey's minions, flunkies, and stooges continue to make strategic leaks to conservative commentators, who hype expectations beyond all likelihood, and in the end, he announces that an exhaustive and thorough examination of Hillary!®'s activities has turned up absolutely no evidence whatsoever that any crime has ever been committed by her, her husband, or any of their criminal enterprises.

Naturally, his announcement will come just in the nick of time to propel Grandma Nixon's fatally sagging campaign right into the Whitehouse.

That's a lot more likely than anything you'll read about the "honesty" and "independence" of any high level appointee in this [or any other] Democrat's administration.

Sorry folks: it's a trap.

Clinton worked to drive her “spontaneous narrative” about the Benghazi tragedy all the way through President Obama’s re-election, and the private communications between Clinton and her daughter on her personal, unclassified email server remained hidden for years.

I'm hoping that the next time she has one of those breakfast chats with Hillary someone in the group, when called on, will stand up and ask Hillary what does she have to say about her husband Bill taking seven trips on pedofile Jeff Epstein's jet!!

I agree.

Obama and others don’t want the Clintons to head the Dem. party, either.

Hitlery and Bill are going to have some very bad karma come back and bite them.

Max, most of us know that the FBI can’t touch Hillary legally without approval from Lynch. But to me, the undercurrent in the article is that the communications between Obama, Lynch, and the FBI may be to proceed with the investigation and an indictment. I’ll throw out a real wild scenario though. I think Obama hates the Clintons so much that he could let Lynch have them BOTH indicted!

People still like Mr. Bill; many see him as a kind of comedian too.
