The media and the elites and even some freepers embrace NY values, that’s why we hear so much about it and not a peep when Trump calls Iowan stupid.

We are talking about Cruz being stupid for his comment about NY. Try to focus.

No, “NY values” include a whole state made up of millions of great people. It is a logical fallacy of reductionism to make a part represent the whole. There are liberal parts of NYC. There are also great values to be found there.
My comments about Cruz are twofold:
1. He is supposed to be smart. He was stupid in saying this.
2. He is supposed to be smart, but he has become a bad version of Ronald Reagan and ever other classic line. Does he not have original thought? Is he not smart?
BONUS #3 - he could do with less weasely lawyer-speak and more direct communication. He could use a good voice coach too, to help with the nasally voice.
As a conservative, he ticks boxes. As a leader, I’ve not seen it yet.
