GOP voters don’t want “anger.”......I’ll settle for anger instead of shrugs and ‘Oh, well.”

I don’t feel bad for the guy with three things: low energy, turtles in his pocket and the long coveted endorsement from 0% Linda.

No one is talking about Jeb, his act of love, nuanced view of the world, and contempt for the conservative base any more.

Good riddance to a Dead Man Walking.

Could not be said better. Jeb would have meant one more Establishment election loss for our country ceded to the Left.

The Establishment has lost its collective mind and are bubble dwellers who are practically un-American now, as compared to the traditions of this country at its best.

They do not care anymore, can not see the destruction from that perch they are on, inside the bubble. It was party suicide to ever raise up Jeb Bush.

Bush leaves everyone wondering how the heck did he EVER get elected governor of Florida, in the first place? If he could attain to high office in the shape he has presented now, then any of my intelligent neighbors can be governors anywhere, any time, and right now.

What we want is the truth. Now, it's true that the truth will make anybody who is not a communist or a traitor angry, but it's not the anger we want. It's the truth. For once.

You're right...

I'm also sick and tired of Washington Post type elites referring to us as 'angry' all the time.

That's just one more way they attempt to feel superior to us. Personally, I think liberal elites are foaming at the mouth angry... and we're soooo much cooler. Gads, even mocking them makes me aware what shallow lowlifes they are...

Yes, years back I helped Bush in a Florida campaign but he has lost some of his mind.

The argument that it will help us form alliances with Muslim countries by letting Muslim immigrants into this country is crazy. We need to put Trumps position into effect and force Muslim reform. IF there is going to be a way to vet people of this religion, we have to have the countries of origin set it up. By the time they get to US soil (and the idiot concept of granting full hearings and due process) its too late.

As was well pointed out already, radical Islam can get a passport from any country and apply for travel to the US. We should call a full halt to immigration until we set up a way to determine who they are and what their purpose of travel is.

To be fair, both Rubio and Cruz have said don’t let anyone in until we know the answers to these questions. But Trump was first with this line or thinking and he is still the one we should trust the most. Sorry Jeb, your kind collaborative approach is not going to be successful.

I feel bad for America, having been led on a false path by this Pied Piper family for over a quarter of a century.

Ok, but really - don’t you feel a little bit sorry for Jeb? Like when he tells us we don’t ‘get’ that people come here as an act of love? That doesn’t touch your heart?

I have a feeling the guy would have chosen some totally different life had Mommy and Daddy not been on him constantly to maintain the family legacy.

Sort of like a late uncle of mine who was a piano prodigy. He would have gone to Julliard except his old school Irish Catholic family more or less forced him into the Priesthood.

He had a rather unhappy life by all accounts.

I don’t feel “sorry” for any politician. They have it made in perks, graft and retirement. Sorry...not so much.

I feel sorry for Terri Schaivo.

... —— === oooooo

I do too, but it really wasn’t Bush’s fault. I know personally some of poor Terri Schaivo’s medical history, which I obviously cannot comment on. She had real physical problems that caused her stroke and ultimate death.

Bush was constrained by law. Like it or not, Terri’s husband had the legal authority to do what he did. I don’t understand why he just didn’t relinquish his guardianship to Terri’s parents, but he didn’t. He had the legal right to make the decision he made.

The lesson from this horrible event. If you are being abused by your spouse either physically or mentally, DO NOT STAY IN THE RELATIONSHIP. Things like this can happen. You might get in a car accident and go into a vegetative state where your abusive spouse will make decisions that you and your family might not like.

If your child is in a bad relationship, at least have them legally assign guardianship to you, as the parent, if both of you have reason to doubt that the spouse will not make decisions in your child’s best interests.

I can’t stand Bush but I think he went above and beyond to try to save Terri’s life. I will give him that.

If Jeb were the frontrunner, this same writer would be demonizing him as an “extremist”. Libs always love the conservative who finishes last, or the dead conservative (Goldwater, Bill Buckley, etc.), never the current frontrunner.

It’s a bad scene after these debates. When Jeb gets home his wife throws tortillas at him, screaming, “Joo looser - now I never be Senora Primera!” Because she’s a dwarf, the tortillas mostly end up bouncing off his legs. A maid scurries around, tears in her eyes, picking up the mess. Everyone goes to bed drunk. No one talks in the morning.

Yes, most were pretty good last night about halting indiscriminate immigration. Except, of course, Bush. I guess he and his family believe they will be protected by the Saudis once this country goes Sharia! Although I doubt that, lol.

I feel sorry for the citizens of this country that have suffered rape, death or dismemberment because the Bush family has an affinity for Mexicans.

Yes, I do not know what JEB is thinking, I suspect he is not thinking. But it is possible he is a captive of his family. After all W could not say anything negative about the (religion of peace). I have to choke when I think about it — because I supported W and it was a mistake.

JEB pretty much has no choice but to be a Bush and all that it entails. Which in this case means being wrong about the ME and wrong about immigration.

In my day, Mr. Cillizza would be accused of ‘crying crocodile tears’. Today he might be said to be ‘throwing shade’. In any event he is writing disingenuous rubbish.
