There IS a GOP presidential primary in N.Y. and Cruz will LOSE it BIG TIME and yes, he once had some supporters there.
This isn’t my cup of tea.
I don’t like to see a guy get kicked out for something like this.
Regular issues are what I care about. I didn’t care for his politics, because I never saw him the way others did. He was a slippery guy to me.
So this present NY thing is costing him, but it was his slipperiness that counted more to me.
That’s not to say that I don’t think he blew it, because I think he did. We’ll see if it costs him.

I still like Cruz, but New York is Trump’s to lose.
Regarding NYC’s ultra-liberalism, Staten Island, one of the 5 NYC boroughs just south of Manhattan, virtually split the Presidential vote in 2012.
New York is “huge”. And it’s both liberal and conservative. It’s a great state, but too expensive.
