Former SC AG, McCain, Bush, Dole SC Co-Chairman Endorses Ted Cruz for President (Charlie Condon)

HOUSTON, Texas - Today, Former South Carolina Attorney General Charlie Condon endorsed Ted Cruz for President. A two-term AG in the Palmetto State, Condon led in guaranteeing constitutional rights for victims of crime. He served as John McCain's South Carolina Co-Chair in 2008, George Bush’s South Carolina Co-Chairman in 2000, and South Carolina Chairman for Bob Dole in 1996.

"Ted Cruz's fidelity to the Constitution and the rule of law makes him a welcome figure after eight years of Obama's lawlessness," said Condon. "No one has fought harder to protect the rights and freedoms of Americans than Ted Cruz. From Texas to Washington, in the courtroom and on the Senate floor, he has been the leading voice opposing Obama's unconstitutional executive orders, usurpation of legislative power, and selective enforcement of the law. With Ted Cruz as President, we will have someone in office who respects not only his constitutional authority but also the limitations of that power that guarantee our liberty. I am proud to support Cruz for President."

"I am honored to have Charlie's support," said Cruz. "He has been an incredibly strong warrior in the fight to uphold the law and protect our freedoms. He is an important and influential voice in a critical early state in this campaign. I look forward to having his help as we connect with South Carolina voters."

“He served as John McCain’s South Carolina Co-Chair in 2008...and South Carolina Chairman for Bob Dole in 1996.”

I might have skipped mentioning this particular endorsement.

He should just post a link to “Cruz News” and stop re-posting everything there on FR.

I’m sure the site owner would rather have the traffic.

But yeah, that’s a real “sweet” endorsement.

And if that doesn’t set one’s heart a twitter with excitement, than nothing will!

(I know when I got up this morning, first thing that popped into my mind, before the coffee, was “You know what we really need here? It’s an endorsement from a guy that hails from the Dole, McCain, and Bush camp. That will really do it!)

LOL

No, Cruz is the candidate the GOPe hates most. They’re even willing to help Trump win Iowa to try to stop Ted. But he has organization, money, ground game, and momentum.

Yeah and they even devoted the SOTU response to helping Trump as well!

Oh wait...

Cruz is a sitting senator. He is part of the political class no matter how he tries to distance himself from it. He has spent most of his working life in government. He is an insider. The political class will take him rather than someone outside the system, i.e., Trump.

They figure Cruz can be somewhat controlled and Trump can’t. I concur.

“Wow.... now there’s a list of winners!”
__________

Don’t get too excited...the title is misleading. He only got one endorsement...a GOP party hack...Condon WHO worked for MCCain, Bush, Dole.....interesting...all of them pro amnesty.

Actions? Do you think we have ever seen the case where the GOP response to Obama's SOU address attacks the GOP front runner like Haley did? Or that the Spanish version of the Haley speech was changed to support amnesty?

The GOPe cannot control Trump. He doesn't have special interest and corporate donors like Cruz has.

“They figure Cruz can be somewhat controlled and Trump can’t. I concur.”

Youi have it exactly right! Plus Cruz has big money “benefactors” who will want something for their largesse. But as I see it, all this “gum flutter” about Cruz is probably just that. He’s a good guy, but I don’t see him being able to run the table. We should all be more worried about the remaining “real GOPe candidates,” and the neffarious GOPe and their mini-me, Rancid Penis! Rancid is out lying through his teeth about the GOPe supporting Trump 110% if he gets the nomination. It’s that “if” they’re working on right now. Little Yebbie could show up at the convention with a couple of deligates and wind up “the party’s choice.”
