I heard around 4:00 pm today that they had sold 97% of the possible combinations.
I know my numbers are in the last 3 % ... I should win something for that. ;^)
The Dagnabitt Zeppelin fleet will be awesome and terrifying.
If that is true then it won’t hit 2 billion next draw and very likely multiple winners. We shall see tomorrow.

Find me in the Philippines on a boat. Counting down how many Islands I have yet to set foot on, with at least 3 young lovely young female guides, their Mom’s to Cook, their Dad’s to steer us out of danger and enough San Miquel to weather the storms.

Nope. Here are the approximate jackpots (iirc this time around):
Jan 2..... $500M
Jan 6.... $950M
Jan 9..... $1.3B
Jan 13... $1.5B
That's a week-by-week increase for the last three drawings of $450M, $350M, $200M. Coverage of all possible combinations is most certainly decreasing, NOT increasing. Therefore, it is less likely there will be a winner this time than last time. That's an unusual situation, because normally, as the pot increases, lotto fever takes hold, more tickets are sold, and the probability someone will win goes up. Not here. It's going down. I'm not saying no one will win. Someone probably will. It's just less likely. And that is very unusual. I don't recall ever seeing it happen before.

I am, not sure where you are getting your info from but the dates and jackpots you cited are wrong. The Jan 9th drawing was $950 million. The $1.3 billion was what they originally said was tonight’s estimated jackpot. However they have raised that estimate twice since then due to brisk ticket sales.

Ooookay, I think that's my problem, sorry. The old memory isn't what it used to be and I couldn't find the actual numbers anywhere. I haven't been able to check the webpage you gave me; it's all jammed up. But I will check it later and expect things won't look so squirrelly to me after I look at it. Thanks!
