Nikki Haley, the South Carolina governor hand-picked by House Speaker Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) and Senate Majority Leader Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) to give the Republican response to President Obama’s State of the Union addressed, confirmed Wednesday morning that she did indeed target GOP frontrunner Donald Trump and that the speech was approved in advance by Republican leaders.

South Carolina was long regarded as one of the freer states especially east of the Mississippi but she is hell bent on turning it into Ohio or Pennsylvania.

Obama's last SOTU speech, and instead of laying out the final rebuttal to all of the Left's policies, and all of Obama's lies in the SOTU, and all of the problems we face as a nation because of both, and what the GOP will do differently so that voters can choose the GOP in November... instead, the GOP leadership decides to take that time to attack a republican. You cannot make this stuff up.

And there will still be many in the GOP who will be shocked when their party implodes.

As one who has been a consistent severe critic of Donald Trump, I join all of his supporters in protesting this usurpation of the vehicle of the Republican Party by unelected elitists.

This sort of treachery must be repudiated by the rank-and-file of the Republican Party and every conservative who can raise his voice.
