Perhaps the professor is not a math person, but McVeigh does not seem to represent 90% of terrorists. In fact, the percentage who are Christian seems, since the IRA disappeared, to be roughly zero.

Even ‘back in those days’ the IRA (of which there were MANY other groups, wish I couple remember ‘em) CALLED IN their threats which gave time to evacuate the area and/or look/diffuse. I don’t recall any ‘heart of the market’ bombings/etc.; it was always them vs. govt vs. IRA-like

McVeigh was not affiliated with any “group”, and he basically did it himself. He was not doing it in the name of some religion, even if he called himself Christian, that was not his aim.
