That’s horsecrap trollbait on its face.

The truth can be a painful bitch, but that does not change the facts. If you want to keep posting crap about Trump, expect to have to face the uncomfortable truth about Cruz.

Here is the money quote from the article:
“As politics becomes more of a public performance, it draws people higher in narcissism,” Twenge said. “So we will end up with more politicians who are charismatic and confident and who we like in the short term, but more who disappoint us in the long run.”

It’s quite a sleight of hand by the author how Obama’s faults become reason to not support Trump.

Hold up, Jo. I’m not playing one off against the other. I support both Trump AND Cruz. I want them on the ticket together to ensure 16 years of continuous leadership in the White House.

That Washington Compost garbage is just that, and I’ve maintained anyone posting that birther crap on FR should get an instant ZOT. The last thing we need here is Trump and Cruz supporters warring against each other when we’re on the same side.

So why elect another? We've suffered 7 years under one.

Because he's "one" that espouses OUR values, not those we abhor.

so what you're saying is that you are perfectly happy to make the same mistake?

Hell’s bells. Obama was going to make the oceans stop rising and then recede. How’d that work out, world?

Why not give Trump a chance? At least he builds things that work.

And is a productive citizen. Not a government hack or just another frigg'n lawyer.

Man, that is so disturbing, on multiple levels.

That final “smile” is something I usually only see on Animal Planet, right before some smaller, slower mammal becomes supper.

I disagree with the article. Trump's personality doesn't reflect our society ....he is however a narcissist..which isn't a bad thing if they acquire the skills needed to offset their fragile ego's. Trump is definitely oversensitive and why he hits back rapidly....it's to protect his fragile ego. People generally see that as strength when in fact it's simply a means of protecting himself.."emotionally"...Significant is most narcissists do "feel" well beyond the norm...just goes with the territory of that type of personality.

His tactic to cover is to talk more and create word salads as a diversion from what he's "feeling", these word salads will continue, often flipping over each other, until he's more comfortable with the swinging emotions he's busy controlling within himself....... If you really watch him you can easily see this.

All the Trump bashing only indicates he has gotten into the no minds heads. The major reason Trump is leading by so much is that he brings optimism to “We, The People”. Tell me again exactly how much everyone is supposed to love odumbo for the “good things” he has done. There are none. Be sure to add in how many really positive things the bastard child has brought forth. Trump may not be perfect but I believe he IS on track to “Make America Great Again”. The problem is he must first un-do the damage odumbo and his ilk have caused.

Yet, his ex wives and those who work with/for him seem to genuinely like him and not fear him.....

Show me someone who wants to be president and I'll show you someone with an ego - even Reagan (but he was probably the most modest we ever had and will ever have again).

Do something useful...

Now for a short public service announcement to all on FR:
We need to ensure we don't get another Obama-like America Hater as the next President.
The best way to ensure that is to actively support a candidate (even if he's "rich enough to do it on his own") as the next President.
I donate to the candidate I support and you should too, else, your "support" really doesn't have any meaning.

It's even worse if you use FR and don't donate. If you are one of those who feel it's OK to use FR daily w/o helping pay to keep the lights on, then please don't complain about the welfare leeches because, functionally, you are no different than any other who enjoys the fruits of others' work for your own benefit. Also, don't be surprised if others decide that your opinions are as worthless as your non-donations - hypocrites aren't worth listening to.

PS - If you are one of those unlucky few who cannot afford even a small donation to FR or a candidate, God Bless and happy FReeping!.....

Donate to FR

Makes me think of Casius Clay. He boasted that he was the greatest and he was. It’s not boasting if you can back it up.
