Mark Levin has done far more for the Conservative cause than anything

Levin is a whiny little dope with a hyperinflated ego, so insane, so utterly twisted and biased, that he actually calls his buddies at Breitbart-- who, by the way, are literally funded by a Ted Cruz super donor and hand over info about their audience straight into the hands of Cruz's psychological operation-- ***holes and Trump cultists because they had the temerity to report honestly on the Ted Cruz natural born dilemma. Levin's professional job is just to pontificate on the radio and demonize his own callers and audience who disagree with him on certain issues. Frankly, if Levin was off the air tomorrow, the conservative movement would be much better off.

Notice it's only the vicious little trolls on the forum who get butt hurt when I question their idols. Normal people do not engage in group think.

“thank Trump for changing the national political paradigm so far in their direction that a “President Cruz” is now a distinct possibility.”

I initially theorized that Trump was acting on behalf of Cruz, blazing the trail by saying & legitimizing (as a long-respected well-known public figure) conservative ideas that otherwise would deep-six practically anyone else who said them, even if it’s held by the bulk of the conservative population. I expected Trump would, once the initial trail was blazed to legitimize Cruz’s views, drop out and Ted would carry on to victory. (Were that the case or not, Donald realized he COULD win, and without substantial effort. No reason for him to bail now, the ultimate CEO position close at hand.)

I'm really REALLY tired of every pundit telling me why I can't or shouldn't vote for someone.

Pardon my French but leave me the hell alone and STFU.

I dont see some support and few at any Trump event....I see MASSIVE support and YUGE turnouts.

So following the mob substitutes for intelligence these days?

Apparently so...

but I think that the gist is that Trump is the monkey wrench that patriots want to throw into the corrupt Washington cartel.

True that, but that is a superficial emotional reaction, not a conservative one.

But....It all fits into the understanding the US is in a self destructive pattern and it may be impossible to stop it.

Trump was the right man in the right place. He had a media following big enough, and enough personal wealth, the Media machine could not ignore or deride him into the fringes. Without Trump we would be hearing now how everyone else needed to drop out since Jeb was so obviously going to win.

Levin is a talk radio host who’s gets too invested in candidates, see Marco Rubio.

My only real beef with Levin is that he’s being intellectually dishonest by not outright declaring himself for Cruz. It’s time he does so, to strip away the pretence of objectivity.

Other than that, this Trump/Cruz back and forth is a good thing! We need a fighter so let the best one win.

So is this Free Republic's assessment of Mark Levin now? This is what it has come to?

Some time prior, I’d concluded the Right was ripe for a major charismatic leader to walk in and grab the spotlight - I just couldn’t imaging who at the time. And ... here’s Trump! Couple that with Hillary’s ugly “coronate me at all costs” fight, and 2016 will be interesting. Popcorn?

The problem is comments like the one in #22.

No way in hell I'll vote for Trump simply because of obnoxious morons like this loser.

He may not be your preferred answer Kibbe, but he’s the answer you are getting after betrayal upon betrayal.

Denial is irrelevant.

He's constantly testing the political market for voters, throwing ideas against the wall, seeing what sticks. If he gets a positive response he says it again. If not, he drops it.

The very definition of a POPULIST, Matt. I believe I learned that in 10th. grade Civics. Did you just figure it out?

I dunno Jim, I've seen a lot of nasty comments lately about Levin, Limbaugh, Malkin, and other notable Conservative media figures who have pointed out Trump's deficiencies and refused to jump on the Cruz birther bandwagon. The threads are full of such comments today. And heck, even Breitbart (RIP!) is being attacked because of comments he made about Trump in 2011!

Don't you think this is getting out of hand?
