“......I’ve been a listener for 25 years.”
Welcome, Newby!
(31 year listener)
Happy Birthday Rush!!!
Discovered him on a transistor radio while walking down the beach in St. Augustine, Florida in 1988. I think he had only been on a few months at that point.
His life story would make quite a compelling movie IF you could find anyone trustworthy to produce it.

The first time I really heard of him was when he had his television show back in the early 90s. I was doing an Air Force TDY in Texas and began watching him on my lunch breaks back in my room. Thereafter I began listening to him. Hooked ever since!
I agree, his life would make a compelling story! I think Dinesh DâSouza would do a solid job of documenting his life’s story.
I remember watching him on my woodburner TV .... but I ran out of seasoned firewood ... had to drop the cable connection
From this FRper who sets up the Rush thread and another FPer who helps with PING list HAPPY 65th BIRTHDAY RUSH!
Since January 1991.
Some friends and I formed a convoy with “RUSH OR BUST” signs on our cars and drove up I-25 to see Rush at Dan’s Bake Sale in 1992.
May your ear implants be going strong when you are 90.
This birthday to is on loan from God. Enjoy.

Happy birthday, he is still right.
Happy Birthday Rush!
Thanks for your presence.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY...! You are principled and courageous!
Happy birthday to Mr. Limbaugh.
Happy Birthday Rush!
Driving around Sacramento in my capacity as a building
materials salesman in the mid 80s I would flip on KFBK
and there was this guy who kept saying things I was thinking.
At times I would think out ahead and next thing I knew he
was expressing those points too. Rush kicked ass in
Sacramento and I began to see Rush on some local TV programs.
When Limbaugh announced he was moving to NYC and going
national all of his loyal Sacto area listeners knew he
would take the country by storm and own the airwaves.
That is the kind of impact he had. And, he made
millionaires out of more than a few advertisers.
Good story.
Dittos.
A friend of mine here in Houston told me about a guy on the radio who I would really like. He must have just gone national, I found him and I have been a fan ever since!
