It’s Christian’s fault that they are where they are today.
At some point between 1976-1988 they decided to muck up Christianity in America with slimy televangelists, megachurches, pop-music, corny theme parks, and all manner of plastic crap that bit them in the rear by the 90s as people could not find God in the mess, and all of the hypocrisy was rightfully seized upon by those on the left.
There was a chance after 9-11 to regain lost ground, but no one learned their lesson.
Now churches have rainbow flags out front. The biggest “churches” aren’t really even Christian and are more just weekly pep rallies. And so-called preachers live in million dollar mansions, while running phone banks looking for old ladies to turn over their money in exchange for “blessings”.
And people wonder why there is such a negative attitude towards Christianity?
Say what you want about Islam, but that’s one religion (cult) that doesn’t compromise.
Sounds like Matthew 13:24-30, or Matthew 25:31-46 to me. Maybe, just maybe Jesus knew what He was talking about when He asked will He find faith when He comes back...
There is too much truth in what you say, yet it is those (a relative remnant) who most strongly testify to esteem of Scripture and moral values and are the least likely to compromise that the Left hates the most, while seeing the liberal versions of Christianity - which it is not - as potential or real allies.
That's quite an indictment. Unfortunately very accurate.
