Bernie was encouraged to run by the Dem leadership.

1. He’s old. Really old. He makes Hillary look young.

2. He’s leftist. Soviet Union visiting leftist. He makes Hillary look moderate.

3. He can’t win. He’s old, Jewish, socialist, north easterner and he won’t have appeal beyond the hardcore leftists.

4. His crowd satisfies the left without having someone that might beat Hillary run. Like, say, Elizabeth Warren.
The leftists will realize they have to vote for Hillary to stop Republicans. But they had their shot and democracy decided the nominee.

The problem is....

Hillary is a TERRIBLE candidate. She more you see her the less you like her. Her health is bad and they are having trouble hiding it.

All of the enthusiasm for the Dems is for Bernie. Dem Underground types all support him and view Hillary as a Wall Street sellout.

Bernie has been given a steady stream of instructions and has followed. He was told to deflect attention from her emails and he said it was a non-issue in the debate. He was told to cover for her in the last debate and did as well.

But... he’s doing well. He sees he might win the first and second primary races. So he’s starting to believe he’s got a real shot as are the people around him. He’s made a small statement that Bill’s history is an issue.

If he goes ‘off script’ and goes for the jugular with Hillary, he might really split the party making it tough for the true lefties to support Hillary later.

It’s great news for Republicans. We want as much chaos on their side as possible.

But, sadly, it reveals how far off the deep end leftists have gone. Millions of young people support Bernie and they will be voting for years to come.
