On the Sunday broadcast of "The Cats Roundtable" on New York City's AM 970, host John Catsimatidis spoke about the upcoming 2016 presidential election with economist Arthur Laffer, a former member of President Ronald Reagan's economic policy advisory board.

Laffer not only predicted a victory for the GOP, but he would be "surprised" if they did not take as many as 47 of the 50 states.

I do believe this will come about. Hopefully we won’t blow it by installing a FALSE conservative such as Trump.

Nope. They arent going to get even 40 states. Too many liberals in too many hardcore left states. Still doesnt mean the democrats win, but this is just idiotic to print.

Trump is a solid conservative, much like Reagan or Palin and will win much like Reagan did in 1980 and 1984.

This is why we need to elect the most proven conservative in the race. We don’t need a loose cannon at this time. We need a solid conservative both fiscally and socially.

Trump is the reason the republicans will take 47 or 48 states because ,except for Cruz, the rest don’t inspire shit.

What we “need” and what we’ll “get” are two vastly different things.

That trump is for control of the borders and for restoring the economy is great.

You forgot the /sarcasm tag. Not only is Anita Trump not a “solid conservative,” he isn’t even a solid anything except being in love with himself.

Either Trump or Cruz would win the presidency in a massive landslide. The American people have had their fill of the establishment and are in a revolutionary mood.

If he gets the nomination, I hope and pray you are right. But I have my fears and doubts about him — that he himself has instilled in me.

Granted he has no legislative record, but he embodies conservative ideals. Strong military Family Values Pro Life America First Christian

Christian? When is the last time he darkened the door of a Christian Church? Does he tithe to any church? He claims to be a Presbyterian, but is he a member of any congregation? Is it the Presbyterian USA?

Pro life? Has he given even a dime to any right to life group? He has given plenty to candidates who support abortion.

Family Values? He has stated that homosexual marriage is the law of the land and he has no interest in overturning it.

Strong Military? Maybe so, but then he dodged the draft.
