Wow - 14 you say? Precocious kid.
I was in 8th grade for the Goldwater 1964 campaign, and since my dad was a Conservative,
I and a few friends passed out AU H2O bumper stickers. But that was just
for fun. I graduated HS in the summer of Woodstock, and picked up the many flaws of
that era, casting my first vote for McGovern. But 4 years in Asia, watching the industrial
revolution up close, and reading history, I came to my senses.

You were fortunate to have those experiences. It gave you first hand knowledge on how the world works. I traveled all over Asia in the early 2000’s, and it was an adventure I won’t forget. I still go back to Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand on business.
