Caught the tale end of “Law and Order SVU” the other night.
A young man had been charge with a heinous murder and the ADA was going to charge him with 1st degree murder. Sgt. Benson protested, saying “If you do this, his life will be over.”
The ADA replied, “His life was over by the time he turned 15.”
And we’ll be smiling when they die on the gurney in the state pen in Huntsville because they will have cost taxpayers millions employing state-provided lawyers for 10-15 years of appeals. Oh for the days of speedy justice that only employed a rope and a tree!
20-year-old Tiala Alexander, 18-year-old Telavell Coleman, 19-year-old Dadriana Holmes
But the best was mentioned by a FReeper the other day, something he read somewhere, about a sista named Latrina.
hahahahahahahahaha
From the Toylette family?
Hopefully they smile and wave as they are strapped to gurneys and pumped full of the last drugs they will ever do.
Used to live not to far from restaurant 35 years ago. Used to be nice.
When the Sodium Thiopental starts flowing through the iv, there will be big smiles - on the other side of the glass.
In real life if a NYC DA wanted to threaten a suspect with the death penalty he'd have to be able to extradite him to Texas.
I see Sgt. Benson was terribly-concerned about the victim. Not.
Typical liberal show.
In most places, if they are practicing proper security of money, they would have gotten a couple hundred at most if they did not access the store safe.
Great Irish and Amish names. Hope they know how to say “Oh shit” in English when they are executed.
It started in the late 60s with the Black Power movement and blacks having a love affair with Africa. They decided to move away from American names and give their children African names. And yes, some of the names are totally made up and have no history behind them.
“If convicted I want to see a pic of them smiling as theyâre wheeled down the hall to be executed.”
You think you’ll live long enough to see that?
Being it’s Texas it’s a good possibility. :)
This is all too common. A lot of these thugs look like they don’t care, or it’s no big deal to go to prison, even for murder. Is our penal system not doing it’s job?
The one that gets me is “Melania”
Bump, agreed.
Sometimes gangbangers have to go through low yield (and low investigation) armed robberies as part of their initiation.
Police don’t even prosecute carjackers here (I’ve known over 5 peoples’ who cases were never prosecuted even with recovered vehicles and in one case, armed kidnapping).
The victim’s life IS over.
I was lucky I wasn’t shot when I was robbed by two hispanic yutes near my house. Police didn’t care and never followed up on my case. I got a case number and gave a brief statement at the scene. My incident isn’t even in those online maps of crime events.
My only hope is that they pull a gun on a cop some day and THEN the law enforcers may decide to enforce some laws.
