Cruz is a conservative. Trump is not. Don't you find it ironic that ‘conservatives’ are ridiculing a conservative and praising a liberal Democrat?

Others haven’t dropped off and right now it’s a populist movement. In addition he hasn’t had to get in front of a mic in debate for more than 30 seconds (snippets) and that’s then interrupted by the debating rookie Bushie. My suspicion is the top 3 will be Trump Rubio and Cruz. As the others drop off their support will go to Rubio and Cruz. Once on the debate stage with no where to wiggle he will be in an uncomfortable position and shown as the “show” he truly is

Strange how what you describe as a liberal happens to take the most conservative stance on the majority of issues without the legalese or parsing of words.

Keep your establishment politician, it has worked so well for us up to this point. Heidi would enjoy being back in the White House, but the general wouldn’t go that way.

Blue states went red for Dubya in 04. Enough Dems supported the war to vote for him.

In 88, The Dems didn’t think Dukakis was the answer. They didn’t want a change up from the Reagan years. Blue states went red.

In both cases, the Republican candidate siphoned off votes from Dems. It’s been this way since Reagan Democrats.

Do you see blue states going red for Cruz? CA is still in the margin of error.

You think they care about truth?

Goebbels did too....

If Cruz wins Iowa they will be insufferable.

When the SEC states roll thru, watch them scream, calling all of us ‘non-believers’, and liberals because we don’t agree with their messiah.

Which doesn't keep it from being a very popular practice.

“Primaries are about momentum.”

I agree, and that’s what my post reflects. If Cruz can stump the field in Iowa this is his to take. If Trump gives him a fight in Iowa and can win in NH, then this is Trump’s race.

>>>Do you see blue states going red for Cruz? CA is still in the margin of error<<<

I’m in CA, I am a Cruz guy, but there is no way he could ever Win here in the General against Hillary.

Trump could possibly win here, which is something I thought I would never say in this day and age about a Republican.

Cruz is leading in Iowa. That’s it. Trump is a tectonic shift in the electorate, drawing record levels of White voters and 20% of Democrats. Cruz simply cannot do that. He lacks the name recognition, and is too tied (along with his wife) to the establishment Americans see as corrupt and moribund.

Does Trump have a GOTV effort? Or is his entire GOTV plan based on campaign appearances?

Does that matter, outside Iowa and Nevada given his large lead?

Those disaffected DEMS are changing their registrations to GOP.

Trump has MANY long time registered GOP voters supporting him.

Cruz will NOT get a majority of Trump's supporters, should Trump somehow doesn't get the nomination, which Trump probably shall.
