Conversely, Chuck might well today be a respected King if he’d not been introduced to a very immature Diana. I recall that she was soon in over her head as much as Obama is today.
In the mid-seventies I socialized and worked with a fair number of English ladies, 25-50 yrs. of age. To a person they adored Charles. He was widely thought of as England’s most eligible bachelor. Diana was an example of THAT WOMAN.
My conclusion is that Fleet Street et al. did a hatchet job on the lad.
All that said, their sons are better than remarkable young men. One has to acknowledge that Charles has had a significant role in their upbringing.
