See the true constitutionalist and anti establishment (before it became faux pau was and always has been Cruz. He wants to return ICE back to its original mission of catch and deport hence not again growing the size of government exponentially through the formation of a gestapo aka truly enforce the laws on the books. Something I’d expect to be a conservative position. However conservatism has played 2nd fiddle during this cycle to emotions something liberals use in their path to reaching conclusions.
