Yes, you are soooo right. I too, usually start with the caramalized onions and heat, but I don’t have a good knowledge of the various chili peppers, from mild to hottest. What do you recommend?
The hotter green peppers are the thin long ones.
AT Winco Foods they are tagged as “Serrano peppers”.
But any Jalapeno pepper is good. Fresh carmalized peppers add a better kick to any dish instead of just dry chili powder.
