Actor Sean Penn's interview with drug boss Joaquin "Chapo" Guzman was one factor that led to Mexican security forces capturing the kingpin, a government source told Reuters.
Mexico's government was aware of the October interview with the legendary boss of the Sinaloa drugs cartel and was closely monitoring Penn's movements, a second government source told the news agency.

Penn also wrote that he was aware the Mexican government and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration likely knew of his movements.

In this new day and age Chapo should have shunned it all for a legal medical marijuana license.
He rats out one of the biggest drug cartel people on the planet and declares he doesn’t miss his gun collection......I’d say the toothbrush is a rocket scientist next to him.

He should send a thank you note to the Mexican government and CNN - anonymously, of course - maybe from his new rented bungalow in Bootstrap, North Dakota. Oh, and he'd better get himself a couple of Rottweiler's, an AR-15, a Glock 17, and find Jesus before it's too late.
