Well, when he hasn’t had to veto that many. That’s the problem. They’ve given him pretty much what he wanted.
I didn’t vote for McCain, so I am guilty of what you talk about there. I would never put McCain at the helm.
Y'know, Carter might not have owned that title. The more I think about it, Jimmeh was the most incompetent, but LBJ was the worst.
Viet Nam, an unnecessary war; the War on Poverty, making dependents of the black community; The Great Society, spending money like there was no tomorrow; consolidation of the Social Security and Government Operating budgets, in order to allow the expenditures at the price of insolvency of the Social Security account.
In other words, a litany of failures that we're still living with -- and paying for -- today. I really don't think Jimmeh was responsible for as much damage...
“”Then he turned the presser over to Police Commissioner Richard Ross who directly contradicted the mayor’s fantastical account: He said the shooter confessed that he committed the act in the name of Islam and had pledged allegiance to ISIS.””
Unless the TV cameras didn’t get it right, this article has the cart before the horse....the Police Commissioner spoke first with the idiotic mayor standing off to the side.
Then the mayor stepped up to speak and the PC had to stand there and listen to the mayor contradict everything he had just said. When the mayor said “no one in this room believes this has anything to do with Islam”, the PC should have tapped him on the shoulder and said, “You’re WRONG!”
