Trump’s past attacks of other candidates were done in response to him being attached by them. Trump’s attacks on Cruz, however, are because Cruz is polling ahead of him in Iowa and gaining strength in other states.
That’s the difference, and why Trump’s attacks benefited him previously, but will not, against Cruz.
Out of curiosity, who has the power to declare whether Cruz is eligible to run, or not? Is it Congress, the Supreme Court...or who?

LOL, the article says nothing about it helping Cruz. But it’s good to know the Cruz fans finally realize that Mr. Trump is only looking out for Teddy’s best interests. Cruz should continue to sit back and not fight it will help him even more! Talking is Ted’s strength. Fighting not so much.

Cruz needs to get this straightened out or he won’t be able to be Trump’s VP choice. So many Cruz supporters trash Trump so much I’m beginning to be believe Dave Brat would be a better choice than Cruz for VP. Doesn’t have that unlikeable quality Ted has.
Trump use to praise Hillary as a likely to be a great president. He funded her and Bill. He said Bill’s lying, sexual harassment, perjury, and obstruction of justice were unimportant. He only turned on them when she interfered with his new found ambitions. Since then, he’s praised Putin and Kim Jong Un. Trump has no common sense and no common decency.

Because now the lofos know Cruz' name, and they know that Trump doesn't like Ted. So... at the next debate, where Cruz and Trump will be standing side by side, the lofos and everyone else will be tuning in to see a steel cage death match.

I’ve been on and off the fence between Trump and Cruz. But when I saw Trumps rambling trashing of Cruz in the Iowa rally my opinion of him dropped considerably.
